This series functions as a sensitive and embodied extension of the installation "Noise On Off: Inside [Outside] the Anechoic Chamber." Drawing on the work of John Cage, these pieces focus attention on the sonority of the body. They employ images of biological hearts that have been digitally manipulated and saturated.

The intentional use of vibrant color seeks to sublimate the rawness of the organ, transforming the organic noise of its pulsation into a vibrant image. The work confronts the notion of absolute silence with the inevitable internal resonance that defines existence.
