05c474v1l4 [Oscar Avila], is a Venezuelan visual and sound artist, whose work focuses on the exploration of the concept of noise.
Trained at the National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE) and holding a Master's degree in Art Research and Creation from the Complutense University of Madrid, his practice fuses the analog and the digital. Employing an aesthetic of glitch and fragmentation, 05c474v1l4 intertwines collage techniques with discarded elements from diverse sources, experiments with field recordings, and explores sonic manipulation (Tonal Noise). His work focuses on information overload, encompassing everything from urban and political noise to digital overload.

Biography
05c474v1l4 is a visual and sound artist, originally from Caracas, Venezuela. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, specializing in Graphic Arts, from the National Experimental University of the Arts (UNEARTE), and a Master's degree in Art Research and Creation from the Complutense University of Madrid.
Her artistic practice is an exploration of the concept of noise, which has evolved from observing the sound phenomena that make up nature, urban noise, political noise, and the saturation of digital time. Her methodology interweaves diverse techniques, employing an aesthetic of glitch and fragmentation.
Through material hybridization, he has developed projects where traditional engraving engages in dialogue with unconventional elements and discarded technology.
He uses field recordings, extracts sounds from films or music, which he then modifies and restructures (Tonal Noise), creating subtle atmospheres or sound saturations that reflect information overload.
Path
She has participated in sound art festivals and exhibitions such as Ars Sonorus (UNEARTE) and the Second and Third Ibero-American Meetings of Talking Sound Art (2010–2011), among others. She has taught graphic arts and sound art workshops at institutions such as the National Art Gallery, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Alejandro Otero Museum, the Carlos Cruz-Diez Museum, and the Jacobo Borges Museum.
Between 2010 and 2013 he worked as a cultural promoter in the Coordination of Popular Power of the National Experimental University of the Arts.
Music
In parallel, he developed a musical facet as a self-taught bassist for the group Sofía Insomnia (2004–2012), with whom he recorded the album Breve, Casi Eterno.
Present
She currently resides in Potsdam, Germany, where she continues to develop projects that intertwine digital art, sound, and experimentation. This retrospective, "Noise On Off: Inside [Outside] the Anechoic Chamber," is a manifestation of her research, conceived as a Total Digital Artwork (Gesamtkunstwerk).
